Maduro, call on the army to be protected from US, residents without water and no light

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maudor called on military forces to prepare if the US launches an attack on the country.

"Be ready to defend the homeland with a gun in hand, if the US empire dare to touch this territory, this holy land," he said. Meanwhile, his adversary, Huan Guaido, acknowledged that attempting to organize a military uprising had errors, and did not even rule out the possibility of US involvement in Venezuela in co-operation with local forces. He said that if Washington made such a proposal, he would pass it for a vote at the National Assembly.
