acmilan - The story of the week: "From Bari for the perfect match" by Daniele

I became a Milanese only because a certain Daniele Massaro, by the same name, stamped the pages of teletext before the advent of pay-TV, and never a declaration of love was inappropriate. Obviously the dream was to cross the gates of San Siro.

For my 18 years my father decides to give me this dream and on October 24th 2004 for the Derby della Madonnina he entrusts this gift of mine to an acquaintance of his, but who had to procure the tickets disappears. Result: the whole race outside the stadium and after the trip from Bari useless, only so many tears and disappointment. But after three years I put aside the tremendous blow and on 2 May 2007 I leave by train, ticket in hand, and I'm there in the South Bend for the perfect match: Milan-Manchester 3-0.

I decide to found a Milan Club and since then many trips but after November 23rd 2014 (Derby finished 1-1) I lost the enthusiasm of San Siro. But my father had had a dream since he was born and I had to satisfy him: I knew that the time to spend together was very little and I did what a child had to do. A very bad challenge that day but after a few months it flew away and only then I could realize that that was the most beautiful Derby of my life and nobody could ever give me a second time. I miss your daddy teasing, I want to imagine you there, to the second orange ring that awaits me every time I come to San Siro.
