Another false step for Milan: the Rossoneri still lacked cynicism, wickedness and personality

The race in fourth place is turning into a game of ciapa no, a Tresette variant card game in which the goal is to achieve as few points as possible. However, precisely because of the non-flawless progress of the opponents and despite a poor period, Milan, five days from the end of the championship, is still in fourth place, waiting for tonight's match between Inter and Roma.

PERSONALITY - Milan today has sinned in cynicism and personality, as has happened many times in recent seasons. In fact, the Rossoneri seem to be unable to make the leap in quality, to get points in the most decisive moments. It had already happened before the derby when a victory against Inter would have launched Milan in third place, and it happened today. Considering also the result of Lazio, with three points the Rossoneri today could have mortgaged the fourth place, extending precisely on the biancocelesti and being able to count on favorable direct clashes against Roma and Atalanta. This, however, has not happened and now Milan is hoping for a false move by the Giallorossi to maintain fourth place.

NO MARGIN OF ERROR - Milan, therefore, will play everything in the next five Serie A games against Torino, Bologna, Fiorentina, Frosinone and Spal with the knowledge that any mistake committed can be lethal in key race to the Champions League. The next races will therefore be crucial in order not to throw away the good things done during the season, especially between January and March, and not to brand a championship as disappointing, in which now Milan boasts only two points more than last season after the same number of days.
