Galliani: "Confalonieri pushed to buy Milan. In 1994 we risked losing the Cup in Athens"

Adriano Galliani, who spoke during the presentation of the book "From Calciopoli to Pink Floyd" by Alberto Costa, retraced some stages of his adventure at Milan: "When we decided to buy Milan it was the new year of 86, we wanted to buy Milan and then I was at Monza: I told the president to be careful because it would have been a very expensive operation. Who pushed to do this operation was Fedele Confalonieri, a great Rossoneri fan, who then looked at Farina's accounts and went for the purchase. I was grateful to Farina, we found the defense that we would have had: he had left the defense, plus Evani and Virdis. There were Evani, Tassotti, Baresi ...
