The fight for testosterone is rejected by the athlete's request not to lower the hormone level

On Wednesday, the Sports Arbitration Court decided to reject Caster Semenyas, a South African athlete who has been in an open war with the International Athletics Federation for 10 years due to the issue of her gender. In 2018, the IAAF decided to change the rules by demanding that hyperandrogenic athletes be cured to lower testosterone levels, a rule that pushed Semenyan to appeal to the CAS with the latter refusing to even though he expressed doubt about the IAAF rule. Semenya claims that it is being discriminated against, while its legal representatives consider taking hormonal cure to lower testosterone levels as something wrong in terms of ethics and a health risk. According to the IAAF, athletes with hyperandrogenism are unfairly advantageous and this is why this institution has ruled this rule. In scientific terms, almost all specialists are of the opinion that testosterone makes the difference and men are generally 10-12% stronger than women. For its part, the IAAF published a study that women with high levels of testosterone make a 3% better appearance than their colleagues, but some academics point out that there are errors in 17-32% of the data. Meanwhile, criticisms of sports organisms that set biological criteria have been greatly enhanced because they are simply simplifying an issue that is actually very complex, such as determining what is right
